Gay Games Tickets Now Available Through Hot Tix

Buy Opening Ceremony, Sports & Culture Tickets at Hot Tix locations in downtown Chicago and Skokie

CHICAGO, IL – Tickets to Gay Games events are now available at Chicago area Hot Tix locations through a special partnership announced today between Gay Games Chicago and the League of Chicago Theatres. Gay Games VII gets underway July 15 with the Opening Ceremony at Soldier Field and Closing Ceremony July 22 at Wrigley Field. Most sports & cultural events are free to the public. However, in addition to Opening and Closing Ceremony, there are some sports and Gold Medal games that require a ticket. Details can be found at GayGamesChicago.org.
Effective immediately, fans can purchase tickets to the Gay Games Opening Ceremony as well as ticketed sports & cultural events at the following Chicago-area Hot Tix locations:
72 E. Randolph (in Chicago Tourism Center), Chicago
163 E. Pearson (in Water Works Visitor Center), Chicago
9501 Skokie Blvd. (in North Shore Center for Performing Arts), Skokie
Hot Tix locations are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm, Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm, closed on Mondays.
Tickets to Closing Ceremony will not be available at Hot Tix. Tickets to all events, including both ceremonies, remain on sale at GayGamesChicago.org.
Hot Tix is a service of The League of Chicago Theatres, a non-profit organization made up of more than 190 theater companies. Their mission is to advocate, promote and support live theater in Chicago, from multimillion-dollar productions to neighborhood storefront theaters. In recognition for their donation of services to the 2006 Gay Games, the League of Chicago Theatres will be recognized as an MVP sponsor.
